Finding True Love Before the Rites: Dance of Camps

It is often said “to be forewarned is to be forearmed.” Hence, before the days when your roses of ‘love me long time’ becomes thorns of ‘I have what I don’t want, and want what I don’t have,’ be forearmed before the marriage rites.

Finding that true love to get married to takes maturity, finding someone who shares one’s interests and with whom one can discuss matters—consummated with all the right motives—preferably bedecked with moral devotion is prime. Athie, the main character of the Oriental romance novella, Dance of Camps (A Shunamite Romance) by Marc Seraphs emulates that.

The novella is appropriately titled "Dance of Camps" not just for its scintillating stylus, but for the game of wit fashioned by the parties involved—the son of a poor livestock farmer, and a powerful monarch—vying for her love.

Dance of Camps is a 3,000 years old Oriental tale set in the mountain ranges of Lebanon, Hermon, Anti-Lebanon, and Carmel of the Middle East—once occupied by the ancient Hebrews and Palestinians.
